This is a practical defensive shotgun class for all experience levels. Students will learn to effectively and efficiently load and operate their shotgun for in and out of the home defensive situations. 

Topics of instruction include setting up and accessorizing your home defense shotgun • Safety and responsibility •Threat assessment and de-escalation • The use of the shotgun for non-firing self-defense • Marksmanship and recoil control • Speed reloading and malfunction drills • Shooting on the move, from cover and from different positions • Ammunition selection.

Student Requirements:

FULL WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR SHOTGUN!

You will need to bring:

Pump or semi auto shotgun, in good, safe working order.

Side saddle (preferable) or other methods for retaining ammunition.

Wrap around eye and ear protection, brimmed cap.

NO Shorts, NO Open Toe Shoes, NO sweatpants.

 Estimated round count: no more than 75 rounds target load. (The least expensive)
